What was the reason you decided to become a chiropractor?

I decided to be a chiropractor because it made a major impact on my life, personally.  When I was in the 3rd grade, I was found at a school screening to have scoliosis (curvature of the spine).  My pediatrician referred me to a chiropractor and after a few months of treatment, it was corrected.  Another experience happened when I was a little older - I had an autoimmune disease.  Although I went through many invasive procedures, the medical model had no solution.  I found chiropractic again.  With Chiropractic and nutrition, the condition has been resolved.  I found a calling to help people connect with the true place of healing inside themselves.

Where did you go to school at?

I grew up in North Little Rock and went to grade school at Immaculate Conception.  From there, I started high school at Catholic High and ended up graduating from CAC.  In college, I started off with a baseball scholarship at UAPB before deciding to pursue Chiropractic which led me to finish my prerequisites to get into Chiropractic School at Pulaski Tech and ASU Beebe.  I went to Chiropractic School at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.

Do you have any other sub-specialties?

I started off really interested in sports and athletes, so I am certified in extremities to help athletes reach their potential.  Through a life-changing experience, I was driven to transition into pediatrics and pregnancy, which I have focused the majority of my career in.

Why do most people benefit from chiropractic care?

Patients benefit from Chiropractic care because of 3 truths:

#1.  The body is self-healing and self-regulating.

#2.  The Nervous System is the master control system of the body.

#3.  Chiropractic removes interference from the nervous system; thus, optimizing the body's ability to heal and regulate itself to its potential.

This is why chiropractic can help people in such a wide range of challenges.  Whether it is overall wellness, indigestion, ear infections or low back pain -  if your nervous system is communicating optimally you can better adapt to your environment.

Why do you want to be my (you, the reader) chiropractor?

Ultimately, everyone needs to find a Chiropractor that connects with their goals and has the tools to help them reach those goals. I've been through postgraduate certification training by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to further my experience and expertise with moms and kids.  I strive to provide the best facility and team to help patients reach their potential. Due to a traumatic birth experience of our own that shifted my life and the way I practice, I have a passion for helping moms have a more efficient birth process and kids function to their potential.

What piece of advice do you want to give parents?

Don't blindly follow the advise of any healthcare provider.  Do research and investigate every option you have.  Make choices from a place of power and confidence, not fear.

What do you love most about being a chiropractor?

I see a lot of similarities between what I get to do as a chiropractor and the movie "The Matrix".  There is a scene where Neo is asked if he wants to take the red pill and have his eyes open to the reality and truth or the blue pill and stay in his current situation.  In chiropractic, I get to open people's minds to their inborn potential.  No matter where they are currently, I get to help them take the next step toward reaching their potential.

Do you know how to call the Hogs?

Of course, Woo Pig Sooie!

We've learned Dr. Vincent is passionate about the work he does and the care he provides to his patients. He LOVES Arkansas, sushi, and The Matrix!  What he's not telling you is the impact he's had on our community. Not only does he often support local non-profits such as the local ICAN Chapter and MILK Run, his patients are always speaking highly of the care they have received from him. His whole staff at Wellness Revolution are amazing. Look at what some of his patients have to say:

"Dr. John saved my sanity. Eloise (5 weeks at the time) had just had her tongue & lip ties revised and was having latch trouble, clicking while swallowing being the main concern. She was diagnosed with laryngomalacia at 12 days old and was having several episodes where she stopped breathing and lots of noisy breathing. I was desperate for a completely well, exclusively nursing baby. I sought out chiropractic care after much research and Dr. John has been a complete blessing since. 5 weeks into seeing Dr. John, Eloise no longer clicks while nursing, which has resulted in no pain for me while she nurses and no air intake by her. Her laryngomalacia is basically non-existent now, the ENT cannot believe how quiet her lungs are. My dream of a completely well, exclusively nursing baby is now a reality. I am forever thankful for Dr. John and his care. Not to mention, Eloise adores him." -L.E.

"I've been receiving chiropractic treatment for the last 6 years of my life. I've been seeing Dr. John for a year and a half now. He takes time to listen to what's going on if I'm having any discomfort. I also just go in for regular maintenance and he loves to stay connected on what's going on in my life. He takes care of our entire family. Every time I see him, he is always cheerful and happy to see his patients. You don't see that everywhere. That's how I know he loves what he does and he takes pride in the care he provides. As long as I live in Little Rock, I will always go see Dr. John. Words can't express how grateful I am for the care he provides and for the entire Wellness Revolution family." - M.R.

"After working at a desk for years, I had significant back and hip pain and sporadic numbness that would occur in my hands and feet. I started seeing Dr. John over 5 years ago and within a month, my pain and numbness was significantly decreased. I knew with my second and third pregnancies how uncomfortable I would be due to changes in hormones and anatomy. I continued to see him weekly and the aches from my first pregnancy weren't nearly so bad with the other two even though I was now working 40 hours a week on my feet. During each labor, contractions were inconsistent so I went to see Dr. John for adjustments. Almost as soon as I was back in alignment, things became regular and labor progressed quickly and much easier. My second daughter had a shoulder dystocia at birth and Dr. John was able to adjust her twice within her first 36 hours so she was able to nurse comfortably. I can't express how grateful I am to him for how much he has helped me and my babies. I'm now seeing him during my 4th pregnancy and I know I'm in good hands." -B.B.
