Sondra is an Arkansas native and is proud to call Little Rock her home. She began her career in 2011 serving families in Central Arkansas. She began working as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor where she received lactation education and training through the loving support program for Breastfeeding Peer Counselors in the State of Arkansas. Her passion for helping mothers breastfeed their babies ignited a desire to help empower women further in their journey to motherhood. In 2012 she began training as a Doula.

She has been trained through a local organization, DONA, ProDoula and Madriella. She believes if we continue to educate ourselves, we never stop growing as an individual and it allows us to be the best version of ourselves. Her passion is one of the key reasons she founded Arkansas Family Doulas. As a doula, Sondra specializes in infertility, surrogate, and bereavement support.

Sondra is the leading lactation expert on Lip/Tongue Tie issues in the state of Arkansas. Her knowledge and experience working side by side with providers who perform Frenectomy Revisions, has allowed her to establish resources for families throughout the state of Arkansas who would have to seek a physician and support across the state line otherwise. Sondra also proudly serves as Arkansas' Postpartum Support International Coordinator, in an effort to meet the needs of women who are postpartum, across the state of Arkansas.  Her goal is to provide our Arkansas families with the best support available by making your family our first priority.

Sondra is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), Certified Labor and  Postpartum & Infant Care Doula. Her greatest accomplishment is her two beautiful and rambunctious boys. Sondra and her husband Matt share the joy of raising their boys together among the beautiful city and scenery of Little Rock.
