Michelle has spent most of her life in Arkansas, and now calls Bentonville home. She began her career as a doula for several years after the birth of her second child. In 2015 she started working as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with Arkansas’ WIC program. In supporting mothers breastfeed their own babies, she recognized that this was her long-term goal. She then began training to become a lactation consultant.

Michelle received her Bachelor of General Studies in Health, Business and Communications from Arkansas State University and is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She is currently working on her Master of Public Health, and is passionate about supporting her community. She continues to work for WIC in addition to joining Arkansas Family Doulas.
