Covering All Your Bases - The Riverfront CBE Program

I joined the Riverfront team in January and since then weve been working together to bring you Arkansasfirst local childbirth education series tailored to the needs and resources of Central Arkansas families like yours. The curriculum includes everything you need to know to reach your goals for your birth experience. We know how busy families here can get, so weve packed all the information into a single four-week series. We offer classes weeknights and Saturday mornings to accommodate your needs.

The curriculum includes pregnancy, nutrition, exercise, normal birth, complications, interventions, pain relief (both medical and non-medical), birth planning, post-partum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding. We will give you all the information you need to decide what you want for your birth. And, because we are doulas with lots of experience working in all of the Central Arkansas hospitals, we can help you prepare for your hospital birth experience. Not planning on giving birth in the hospital? We’re experienced with home births and the local home birth providers as well.

Along with the series, you will receive a beautiful, full-color workbook with up-to-date information on all things pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. There are worksheets to use for nutrition information, suggestions for exercise, planning your birth, packing your hospital bag, and more. There are photos to show your babys development, how your body changes, and how you and your baby work together to make birth happen.

We are so excited to be offering this vital service to our clients. A well-rounded childbirth education series is invaluable to your birth preparation. With this new program, you can truly cover all your bases with Riverfront. Give us a call today to join a series.
